"Telephone problems"

About: King Edward Vii Hospital (Windsor)

Yesterday I tried to telephone the appointments line all day. The phone just rang and rang but nobody answered. In the end, in desperation I telephoned the ward, apologised and asked that someone from appointments called me back, high they did. In the eye clinic waiting area there is a notice showing how many people fail to turn up for appointments, not to be wondered at when phones are left unmanned hereby making it impossible to advise of attendance problems!!!
