"Upset by behaviour of A&E Department nurse"

About: Manor Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

Yesterday, I got home and saw that my mum wasn't feeling well and was having a severe chest pain and was breathless. I told her I will call for ambulance and she refused. She told me to dial 111 and ask for help instead and I did. They told us to got to the Walsall Manor Hospital A&E within 30 mins and we did.

I went to the A&E with my mum and there was a nurse, she was extremely rude to other patients and of course to my mum too. When we first arrived, there was a patient waiting to be examined an elderly patient, the way she was talking to the gentleman was just wrong and unacceptable.

She was very loud that almost every member of the staff could hear her which is again wrong. And when she was examining my mum, she was very rude and opened the door while my mum wasn't dressed and she just literally walked away and the door was wide open! I was VERY VERY upset about her actions.

I've never seen such a behavior in the trust and I think this is just not acceptable and should be investigated.

I've been to different NHS Hospitals and I never ever saw anything like this before. I was shocked! All the NHS staff members I met so far were lovely and caring people but this is very disappointing : (
