"Ashfield district breastfeeding peer support course"

About: New Woods Children's Centre

(as a service user),

I have found doing the breastfeeding peer supporter course really good, even though I breastfed my baby I have learned so much. It has also helped my daughter by going to the crèche. She started off screaming and making herself sick because she didn't like me to leave her, and now at the end of the course she has finally settled. I have gained in confidence as she has also, the tutors have been brilliant and I can't wait to start the volunteers course in January.

Congratulations!.Its great to hear you have enjoyed the course and looking forward to supporting breast feeding mums from January. Your support is very much needed and will be appreciated going forward.

It can be very scary for parents leaving their child with others to care for them and welldone for allowing your daughter to settle and have a good time playing with other children.

Best Wishes

Jenny
