About: Heartlands Hospital / Colorectal surgery

(as the patient),

I met with my surgeon Mr Hawash in October when he outlined my options and the procedure to deal with my tumour.

He and his team operated on me on Friday 13 November (no more superstition about that date) and my recovery for the next 3 days was in ward 10.

I cant speak more highly of the skills of Mr Hawash and his team in removing my tumour and the superb care of the nursing staff of ward 10.

I am grateful beyond words for the skills of all concerned but in particular for the expertise, kindness and concern of Mr Hawash and his team at Heartlands.

I am so pleased to read that you received superb nursing care from the team on Ward 10 and in particular you received excellent care from Mr Hawash and his team.
