My partner visited A&E and had to undergo some tests. The triage nurse was extremely friendly and very good. Similarly the Doctor who did my partners bloods was lovey and seemed to be very professional.
The only disapointing thing was the radiographers who did his chest X-Ray. We were the only people around as it was late at night and a member of staff brought him in and seemed to be quite rushed. About a minute of two later they were ushering him out of the door. My partner then stood there in the hallway buttoning up his shirt. When I asked him why he didn't do that in the room he said that they just rushed him out of the door and he felt as though he was interrupting the conversation they were having. This was not treating my partner with dignity or respect and making him get redressed in the corridor is quite rude. Next time they should probably think about how they would feel having to do that.
But thanks is given to the Dr and Triage nurse as they were wonderful and took the time to explain things to us both as we were quite worried.
"Well organised A&E"
