"Trying to get MRI results"

I had a reoccurring abscess and was eventually recommended by my GP to go A&E to get it drained. Saw different consultants who decided the best option was to have 2 MRIs before going for surgery.

Had 2 MRIs in October and asked when I would get the results - was told that the referring consultant would be in contact to book a follow-up appointment within a week.

6 weeks later and I've heard nothing - called the MRI department to find out who the referring consultant was and then left x2 messages and 2 emails for them. When I didn't hear back I contacted my GP to get the results. Came for my appointment and they hadn't received them, was told to ring the on-call surgeon at the hospital to get them -called and they refused (rightly so) not to give them over the phone. My GP also said he would follow up and call me in a week.

2 weeks later I've heard nothing!
