"still waiting for results"

My daughter was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis; as part of her treatment she needs weekly injections the side effects of which could affect her liver and kidneys. Because of this she has regular blood tests to check the liver and kidney functions, the last blood test was in October and she is still waiting for the results, it is now December.

My daughter has phoned the health centre - several times but is fobbed off, so the weeks go by and there could be a problem which is festering but she has no knowledge about it. I cannot tell whether the delay is at the hospital or due to the surgery being very busy.

I am a teacher, schools are regulated by Ofsted but Doctor’s surgeries don’t seem to have any regulation.
