About: North Tyneside General Hospital

I have a friend who is has been admitted to this hospital a few times.

Reception staff are very helpful.

I really dont want to bother the ward staff for something as simple as visiting times but your website lists departments not wards.

If my friend is in ward 10 I want to find ward 10 and see what the visiting times are.

I do not necessarily know about his/her condition and into which department it would fall.

For the visitors you need to make the it easy to find the visiting times and direct telephone number of each ward.

If this information is on your website already then you do have a problem because I could not find it.

Dear Maggie,

Thanks for your review - we do have information on all our wards for all our hospitals on our website. You can find this by looking under the locations tab on the website’s main menu, then choose which hospital you wish to visit. Each hospital has its own page and it is here that it has all the ward information including visiting times and direct telephone number.

I am sorry that you have had trouble finding these - I have passed your comments on to our team in Communications as we are looking at ways of making this information easier to find on the site.
