My sister was attending an appointment for a glucose tolerance test last Friday. My sister was extremely nauseated and quite distressed as she has a very bad fear of needles.
My sister was seen promptly by an auxiliary Nurse named Alison.
She was everything that you would ever expect or hope your nurse would be. She dealt with my sister with respect, she was warm and caring and really understood how distressed she was.
I am a nurse myself and recognise excellent care. This member of staff is an asset to your clinical area and indeed to the NHS.
Thank you to you and your colleagues for making a stressful visit very bearable.
