"Extremely awful A&E"

My girlfriend was in pain and we went about 23:30 to the A&E and she was seen by the doctor at 4:30am.There were three receptionists and three Securitys but only one doctor.

There is always more than one doctor in A&E. On the night shift there are 2-3 senior doctors and 7 junior doctors. I am the A&E service manager, gcarter.sandy@nhs.net and will be sharing your comments with the team.
