Recently had day surgery.
From the pre-op to when
I was discharged I cannot fault the people I met or the care I was given.
During pre-op I had to go to a different building for a blood test, a member of staff who was sweeping the floors saw me looking confused and unprompted asked where I needed to go, then escorted me outside to another building - In the rain. That was above and beyond and I was so touched that they went out of their way that I am annoyed I didn't get their name so I could pass formal feedback about them on. But their attitude is reflective of everyone I met - from the receptionist, the pre-op nurse, the nurses, sister and consultant who treated me on the day - they were all truly fabulous.
This hospital has people who work in it that genuinely care and that in turn means patients get the very best care.
Spotlessly clean, friendly, professional - every patient who is seen here should be very proud and grateful to the NHS.
"Heatherwood should be proud of its staff and..."
