"Poor Attitude at Mount Vernon Hospital , Barnsley"

My relative attended Mount Vernon Hospital, Barnsley for a period of rehabilitation following a serious illness.

It was disappointing that from the outset as from my experience it seemed that some the very senior staff I saw had a "can't do " attitude. This seemed to set the standard for some of the other staff within the Hospital who I feel tended to regard patients as numbers rather than people.

I would therefore like to thank all of the NHS nursing staff , doctors and managers who did show care and compassion to my relative during their stay at Mount Vernon.

Working under such difficult circumstances is to be admired and was much appreciated; the infection with Clostridium Difficile was unfortunate.
