"Excellent staff and quick appointments"

I am not sure why NHS get dragged into conversations that NHS is failing. My experience of St Peter has been opposite and brilliant.

I had some shoulder pain for few months and it was getting worst therefore I saw my GP. My GP referred me to a specialist in St Peter hospital. I was contacted within few days and offered an appointment.

I arrived early (despite of parking fiasco). I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who signed me in and asked me to take a seat.

Within few minutes I was called by a pleasant doctor. After asking some questions, they assessed me thoroughly.

After checking me thoroughly, they explained me what was going on. Best thing which I liked is the way I was explained and all of my questions were answered promptly. It made sense why I was getting pain in my arm.

I was then given few options and was explained pros and cons of each. This does not happen in other hospitals. This specialist helped me to choose the right treatment option for my condition.

After I took the decision, appropriate forms were filled and I was explained re: what next.

I gave the paperwork to helpful member of staff at the reception who took the paper work, explained me the rest of procedures and I was out within 30 minutes.

My experience has been brilliant so far (except parking spaces) and I can highly recommend this hospital. Thanks to helpful staff, specialist and doctors for making this a memorable event!
