I was fortunate to be a day case on ward 12 on the 2.12.15. What wonderful, friendly, professional and caring people. All the nursing staff, the ancillary staff and support staff were unbelievably kind and caring. The surgeon was so empathic, such dedication and I was completely bowled over by the care and sensitivity of the anaesthetist. As a patient with severe Rheumatoid arthritis my fear was not only the surgery but how my spine and joints might be cared for - I need not have worried, they were wonderful. I might add that I had my surgery under local anaesthesia - a first! With such superb care I would recommend it (and them!) to anyone.
