"An emergency tracheoscopy, clayton ward"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I want to say that the care and support I had during my time there was amazing, the nursing staff couldnt do enough for you, they were up and down checking on myself and the other patients on my bay, I would like to mention one particular nurse donna who showed me and my wife how to use all the equipment when we got home she was so kind aand supportive, I feel that they all stood out as being a very professional and caring team, which is what is needed when familys are going through somthing so traumatic, thanking you all.

Response from United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust

Dear bbelded,

Thanks for taking the time to provide such excellent feedback, this has been shared via the ward Twitter account and will be shared at our next ward meeting. This has given our team (particularly Donna) a great morale boost.

I am very proud of the standard of care our nurses, HCSWs and housekeepers strive to provide from day to day.

Best wishes to you for your continued recovery,

Averil Adams,

Acting Sister - Clayton Ward
