What I liked

I have had two operations in the Oak unit and have also visited twice to have dressings changed/stitches removed. I cannot praise the nursing/healthcare staff highly enough. They are so friendly, caring and courteous. They took the time to get to know me and put my mind at rest before and during the operation. They always remember me and take the time to say hello when I return. As someone who is generally very uncomortable in hospitals, I can honestly say this has been the most positive experience I have had.

What could be improved

The whole unit is quite unbearably hot, especially in the operating theatre.
