My appointment was for 9.45am today. This was with my consultant who was going to tell me the results of a MRI scan on my knee, that I had taken 2 weeks previously. I arrived 10 minutes early and was immediately ushered in. Having looked at the scan the recommendation was for me to have a steroid injection. I thought well... at least some action is now going take place, I didn't think it was going to happen there and then. AND SO.. I was taken into the treatment room next door where the nurse prepared all the equipment, the consultant came in, popped the needle in the leg and it was all over AND IT WASN'T EVEN 10.00am. This was in complete contrast to 2 weeks earlier when I first saw this consultant at St Peter's. Then, I was stuck in a crowded waiting room for one and a half hours. My next appointment is at Ashford and I hope any future appointments are all arranged at Ashford
