"Visit to Acute Referal last Thursday"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital

It is the first time in 66 years that I have had to use the NHS organisation from Doctor to Hospital - yes I am very fortunate and yes Lucky

I went to my Doctors on Monday Morning with double vision in my eye - referred on to an optician. On Tuesday I had a Pears test at a Shrewsbury Optician referred on to hospital

On Thursday afternoon at 1400hrs I was in Acute Referral in Shrewsbury

I went to the Optometrist ,Eye Doctor, met the Consultant, had a blood test, chest x-ray and even an MRI scan made possible by a cancellation

What fantastic service - yes the NHS can get things wrong but I don't know any organisation that doesn't!

Well done to all those people involved in the health care I have experienced and thank you for assuring me. We should be proud of the health care we have in the UK but especially in Shropshire.

I am happy to sign this feedback as I am delighted I have such a team backing me up when I need you
