"Accident and emergency"

I visited this A and E dept at lunchtime last Saturday. I was impressed by the care and attitude demonstrated by staff. The guidance given was a wait of four plus hours, however I was seen as a non urgent case within 11/2 hours by a senior nurse practitioner. Their knowledge of my condition was excellent even then they sought the advice of a senior doctor just to confirm diagnosis. the nurse was very clear in their instructions and provided written details on follow on care. All in all a very good service.
