"Early pregnancy unit scan"

I was sent to this department today after some slight spotting. I called the department in the morning and the reception staff was very helpful and booked me in, advising me to bring along my written referral from GP- I was so relieved as I thought I would have to wait the whole weekend.

I was extremely anxious given the potential outcome. The reception staff was friendly and I was seen very quickly. The health practitioner who completed the scan was very sensitive and immediately put me at ease. They had a very warm and comforting approach through out the visit which made the whole experience a lot easier in the context of my overwhelming nerves. I must be honest I had very mixed views about attending whips cross due to coverage in the media but I would like to thank the department and feedback on my very positive experience. Thank you.
