the food was alot better from when i was in last time more on the menu for diabetics

What could be improved

well that they should clean alot better , i mean i was put into a side room and beds was made but was nasty smell so had look and my pillow had fresh sheets but was not happy see poo on the actually pillow within , the time waiting could been alot better , i was on trolly in a&e all night before had my bed , on ward 17 they lost my notes , didnt know what dr i was under they spent all day trying find out , i was closed off in a room wasnt asked how i was or nothing left me in there was just told use stuff in there , was no tv no anything so i was either to sleep or just look for hours on end, noone even knew what was wrong with me and had many scans and tests ,when i was aloud home they gave me 9 different drugs to take was told also had infection of which they didnt know what kind or where it was just gave me tablets , i had wait 9 hours for my letter to say i could go home, top it all off i now have bad wrist due to a jr dr putting the neddle for blood in the wrong area and damging my nerve i have been given pain killers and gels for it . i have been in and out of hospital for years poorly at the alex i must say worse i have ever seen it in all my life i couldnt wait get out of there, i felt sorry for old people who couldnt speak up for them selves some was left all day in wet beds the staff would rush around just before visiting time changing them but they should been seen to straight away,

I must say i been on most the wards in there and i do think ward 11 is the best they are very helpful and make time for all there patients, they get u up and cleaned and make sure everything is fresh , i saw alot sit chat in their breaks to the old just for that 5 mins , they should have big thumbs up now if only the rest the hospital could be like that,
