About: New Cumnock Day Care

(as a service user),

My friend was coming to the day centre and suggested I try it. My wife thought it was a good idea.

I was a bit sceptical at first about joining a group, I was a bit shy. That didn’t keep me back though, almost immediately I overcame this and made myself at home in the group.

It’s a good place to come. Uppermost for me is being part of a group. I also think the food is first class. We do a lot of different activities, the carers guide us every day with this. From time to time in nice weather we get to go on a run in the bus.

I really look forward to coming.

Thank you very much for the lovely comments you made about New Cumnock Day Centre. Starting something new can be quite daunting and I'm really pleased to note that you persevered and now enjoy attending the group.

I'm glad to hear that there is plenty of different activities on offer and that you really enjoy the meals.

I hope the nice weather arrives soon so that you can get out on a day trip.

I plan to share your comments with the day care staff. Hearing these lovely comments will give them a boost.
