I live in Hardwick nr Cambridge and I am 71. On 20th Nov 2015 at approx. 2.00pm I suffered what was at the time I thought was a heart attack with the worst pain I have ever experienced.
My wife called for an ambulance which arrived in what felt like 5mins. The two paramedics were friendly and firm which helped me calm down from panic and fright. truly professional. Truly super service, the kind of people I would call friends.
When I arrived at A & E I was really impressed with the way I was seen to. A far cry from what I was expecting after all I had read in the press. The staff attending to me certainly made me feel safe and in good hands.
The only slight worry I had was a long wait for blood tests to prove that I had not had a heart attack.
I only wish I was able to thank each and everyone who looked after me but I'm sure you will pass them on for me.
