Today I attended Leverhulme day ward for a procedure to be carried out on my leg. I found that the whole experience from being admitted onto the ward to being discharged later in the day, was dealt with by nursing staff, who cared, showed dignity and had time to listen to any concers I had in a friendly manner. The surgeon put me at ease and I felt confident in them carrying out the procedure with as little discomfort as possible. Thank you to all nursing staff involved and the surgeon.
