"amazing"

My son was admitted to ward 4a for spinal surgery. Our thanks go to all staff at Alder Hey for making our experience a bizzarly pleasurable one. We were made to feel at ease, from the moment we arrived and all tensions left us immediately.

Myself and husband but more importantly our 13 year old son were treated with nothing but respect and dignity, the nursing staff were second to none and always willing to go that extra mile.

In terms of the hospital, what can I say?

The new hospital is everything and more, the facilities are incredible although there were a few teething problems with tv's etc ... and despite previous posts I can confirm ward 4a was cleaned twice daily, and thoroughly too...today after 5 days my son has been discharged, his spinal surgery a success thanks to the skill of the consultant surgeon and team, the only negative is that now my son is home he expects the same 1st class treatment.. well done and thank you Alderhey.
