"Absolute torture"

I must be in the worst bed in this hospital. Right next to a nurses station. The light on the station is on all night and the nurses talk between themselves with no regard for patients trying to sleep. As this is a cardiac ward alarms are going off all night which I then get in stereo (from the patients bed and nurses station). There is also noise from the street. The is my first night here and I am already suffering from sleep deprivation.
