We were very sorry to receive your comments and the concerns you have raised via the NHS Choices and Patient Opinion websites regarding the delays you have experienced in receiving an appointment at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. We are aware that waiting times for appointments is an issue and we are taking a number of measures to help reduce the amount of time patients wait for appointments. One of the improvements has involved the introduction of new clinics in different locations like Trafford and Altrincham, which will help us to reduce pressures on our existing clinics and ensure patients have appointments scheduled in a timely manner. We are sorry that your experience of our services was not to the high standard we aim to deliver.

Your feedback is very important to us and we would urge you to contact us with any future concerns or comments you may have. You can also get in touch with the Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0161 276 8686 or by e-mailing pals@cmft.nhs.uk and they will be happy to liaise with the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital regarding any feedback you have.
