What I liked

Nothing special apart from that fancy looking entrance area with all that art.

What could be improved

Training for staff should focus on thier abilities to help rather than just smiling and trying to look nice. In fact after giving birth in this hospital and coming subsequently for a fever in my baby I came to a conclusion that the more direct and less smiley the person is, the more assistance I will get.

One example of this bad training was of a midwife who examined my cervix opening just before giving birth and said it was only 1 cm open, less than 30 minutes later I almost gave birth but I didn't because I was closing my legs very tightly together and nobody told me not to. The water broke out and the baby pooped inside and at first they didn't what that was midwifes kept coming and going with no help.

a midwife told during my pregnancy that I should come when I have three contraction per 10 min. but after I came they said you have BGS and you should be in antibiotics 4 hours at least before giving birth.

Meals in the hospital as to be expected are bad.

One other annoying thing is supplies, After birth I din't have enough milk in my breast and forgot to bring some bottled milk, my baby cried all the night because she was hungry, the midwife made my baby cry the whole night because of hunger by not me a bottle of milk just because they didn't believe I was trying to breastfeed her and I didn't have milk. and they were turning down my requests for some bottled baby milk with plenty of smiles (of course). I don't think there are many people would try to save the "expensive" price of a bottled milk as she might have thought of me, and there was no possible way of getting some as it was saturday night.

One final note. Is it possible to imagine that a person have spent a night in a well respected hospital like this Chelsea and Westminister hospital without a pillow?I did. I have spent a night with my baby who was having a fever and I had to use my changing bag as a pillow and my jacket as a blanket, I asked the nurse for one but I got nothing

Anything else?

If you are planing to give birth there and you have to do so, do that, but take a lady with you who have been through this and have a proper experience as this would make thing much easier.
