"Outcome looks promising"

About: Leeds PCT

(as the patient),

I was on holiday and had a continual thirst so my sister in law said I should contact my doctor for tests she being diabetic herself. I contacted my GP who did blood tests and the result was I was diabetic. The whole practise of doctors, nurses and secretarial were most helpful in ensuring that I had the best care and attention to detail. I am now taking my own blood sugar levels and have started a new diet and life style. The outcome looks promising and I am in command both of my life and accountability to my problem.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience in relation to your diagnosis of diabetes. I was pleased to learn that you found the staff at your GP surgery helpful in ensuring you had the best care.

If you inform us of which GP surgery this relates to, we can pass your comments on to the staff concerned.
