I was induced as my beautiful baby girl didn't want to make her own way into the world at 42 weeks. I went into hospital on Saturday 17th Oct and my daughter was born by emergency Caesarean section on Monday morning 19th Oct. The care and support that I received was excellent throughout my stay from the induction ward, the birth suite & postnatal ward. I'd like to say a special thank you to the midwife who was on the night shifts for the two night I was in postnatal ward for the care & support they gave to me and my daughter. They are a definite asset to the hospital.
Burnley General was not my place of choice to give birth but I can't praise the staff there highly enough for their hard work & caring attention, not just the doctors and nurses but also the HCA and the cleaning staff.
Thank you all for making what was a difficult birth easy to cope with & for everything you do every day for people like me.
