"Womens Health Unit!"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital

I was rushed into hospital on at 2am on Thursday 29th October and the staff in A&E were fabulous, especially the nurse who dealt with me. They held my hand whilst i was worried and scared. I was then transferred to the Womens health unit who are amazing!! Words can't even explain, I would like to give a special mention to a member of staff who was there for at any time I needed. The ward was comfortable and I was in a private room which was very clean. Staff were fantastic as no-one wants to be in hospital but other than what was happening I found my stay enjoyable as all the staff had a smile on their faces and made me feel very comfortable. I am very happy with the service I have received from the NHS and all the staff deserve a medal!!

Thank you for taking the time to share how you felt about your traumatic arrival to Chesterfield Royal last year.

You must have felt incredibly anxious and worried so I was delighted to read your comments about the team in our emergency department.

I'm pleased they were so reassuring.

Likewise your comments about the Women's Health Unit are equally complimentary, which is lovely. I will pass these on for you and I'm sure our staff will be happy that you felt very comfortable and well-looked after in our care.

Best wishes Sarah Turner-Saint, head of communications
