"Dad losing feeling/function in his legs and no..."

My dad has been on bed rest, having lost feeling and function in his groin area. 5 days have passed now and no one seems to know what is going on, there is no doctor to speak to and we have no idea when and if the orthopaedic surgeon will come and see him again. Since his bedrest, dad has now lost feeling in his left leg, perhaps another week of lying around and dad will lose the use of his legs altogether.

We have tried to get some information, timeline and diagnosis and no one has a clue what's happening. A scan is missed, a weekend passes, another day and the consultant 'isn't in today'. We are very scared for my dad as no one appears to be taking responsibility for him and ensuring that we are kept informed.
