We have used the 111 service a few times when my mother has need help when her own GP was not available. There are times for example when my mother collapsed and stopped breathing we needed the paramedics to come to her to help.
However, there have been other times like in November when my mother had an allergic reaction to antibiotics prescribed by her GP. Then it would be useful to have direct access to a doctor through ‘Grabadoc’ rather than having to spend time going through lengthy questions after calling 111
