In the last 20 years I have visited Halton Hospital many times as an outpatient and once as an inpatient for major surgery and on every occasion I have been impressed by the service, respect and treatment from all the staff. Today for the first time I visited the Minor injuries unit {Urgent Care Centre) as a patient and was pleasantly surprised by everyone and everything that I saw. I did not have an appointment but was seen within 5 mins, first by a nurse and then within 10 minutes by a doctor. It was not an emergency and this was at 9:30 am on a Sunday morning. The unit was well organised and appeared to be running smoothly with a continuous stream of patients of all ages. Well done Halton and thank you. Please keep up the good work in spite of everything and everyone trying to undermine you.
