(as the patient),

I had my second baby at Wycombe Birth Centre in the birth pool, and was really impressed with the level of care I received. All the staff were really helpful, welcoming and accommodating. They listened to what I was wanting with regards to my birth choices and gave me confidence that I could achieve the birth I was hoping for.

Postnatally, I stayed in overnight one night in my own room (where my husband could stay too) which really helped me gain confidence with breastfeeding. Again, all the staff were on hand as much or as little as I needed to help out.

I would really recommend this setting to other low risk women thinking of where to have their baby.
