About: Leicester General Hospital

After ten or more years of gastro-intestinal problems, gradually getting worse, it was the team at LGI which finally identified the cause and have begun to treat my awful symptoms. I have had two lots of endoscopes/gastroscope so, been on every exclusion diet known to man, ...... but in the end it is a fairly newly identified problem of bile acid malabsorption which can be treated with medication. I can't thank the department enough.
