"Amazed at how well everything went."

About: The Royal Marsden Hospital (London)

Operated on by the surgeon to remove a tumour on my shoulder. The surgeon was most informative pre-surgery. I had the operation one morning and within 24 hours I was given the all clear to come home. I experienced so little pain that I required no painkillers and 48 hours later I have virtually full movement in my arm. I still find it incredible just how well it went and how my recovery is going. I cannot thank both the surgical and anaesthesia teams enough and the nursing care was exceptional. The food was excellent and I looked forward to mealtimes. If all NHS hospital care was as good as this, the system would be saved. Thanks to all once again
