"Thank full patient"

About: Wrightington Hospital

I was a patient on ward5 for 9 days(5th- 13th October 2015), then I was discharged but had to be re- admitted & spent 5 weeks out of 6 in hospital after spending a portion of that in a local hospital I was returned to ward 5 @ Wrightington. The staff instantly made me feel relaxed at home there care was 2nd to none, nothing was too much trouble.Because I came 100's of miles so didn't have many visitors they went out of the way, even when times were tough/ I was upset they were there for me.I would like to say a big thankyou to everyone .See you in 2016 on my return for my hip putting back in no nerves this time/ like coming home friendly smiling faces xxxx

Thank you for taking the time to post your kind comments in respect of your treatment and care at Wrightington Hospital. I will pass these on to the Head of Nursing in Specialist services to ensure that your posting is highlighted and shared with all staff. I am pleased to note that you feel welcomed and less anxious about your forthcoming procedure in 2016, when I am sure staff will again look forward to aiding your recovery.
