"least helpful telephone conversation ever"

I ve just rang the Cockermouth hospital on number given online 01900 822226. For some reason went straight through to the ward. A person answered and I explained I was desperate to contact the Physiotherapy department. They explained they were in another building and were too busy to give out their number and started to put the phone down. I explained it was very important and before they put the phone down could they atleast give me the number for switchboard. Not surprisingly they just said no they were too busy. I work in a hospital on a ward and I'm sorry that's simply just poor communication and incredibly unhelpful.
