What I liked
The reception and waiting area was friendly and efficient.
What could be improved
I was meeting with the dr's in the Gastroenterology Clinic for a 4pm appointment futher to Barium Xray and endoscopy procedures.
Despite the tests being Clear the appointment lasted 80 minutes. Is this nornal practice? When left the clinic at 5:45 there were patients waiting to see them that had been there for two hours.
The doctor was offensive and unprofessional follows:
I was accused of attempting to read the notes while they were speaking to me which was completely unwarranted.
I was accused of not participating in tests which they had not registered me for. (A plate xray)
They ignored the Dr's instruction to setup a lactose deficency test and accused me on of not attending.
It was 20 minutes into the appointment before it was let known that all the tests were clear.
At no time in this or the previous appointment did they attempt to explain the scheduled procedures or the diagnostic logic that required them.
In my view the consultant should engage the patient with an articulate discription of the diagnosis process and treatment plan making precise use of the time and the patients.
I dont expect to be agressively insulted for things I am not responsible for.
