"Hysterectomy"

I was operated on in July 2015 for uterine cancer.

The treatment and care I received was just excellent and I was in awe of the hardwork and dedication of the nursing staff in Charlotte Ward.

Nothing was too much trouble and, at a time of real crisis for me, I was treated with dignity and respect.

I cannot praise the staff too highly, they were so busy and understaffed, but they stayed cheerful and helpful at all times.

The level of care received came as a huge surprise and I left with a new-found respect for everyone involved in helping me get through the trauma of the operation in such a kind and careful way.

I am so grateful for everything which was done to help me and so thankful to everyone.
