I'm appalled by this hospital and the care it provides
The staff communication between each other is a disaster
Originally I was told it was suspected appenisitis to which I told them I have no appendix, 2 days later they came back to tell me I have no appendix to which I already knew.
Then it was suspected gallstones, then 2 days later they suspected it was crohns and no longer nil by mouth and left me for 48 hours while 1 team argued with another about who's care I should be under.
I was having lunch one day and a nurse came over and had a go at me for eating the wrong food, but nobody had discussed the right foods I could eat.
It took them 4 days to check my stools to then find salmonella which I caught from the hospital, I had shared a room with 5 other people for a week to then be told I need a room of my own Incase I infect anyone!
The shower curtain has mould all over and there was blood left all over the floor for days!
The care they provide for elderly people is disgusting, 2 elderly people needed 24 hour care so for 2 of the days they forgot to get the correct staff in and so 1 nurse had to watch 3 patients!
There was a elderly man next to me, they have him water in a jug and left him to pour himself a drink even though he couldn't move to which then I got up and helped the man!
I am appalled with the way the patients get treated in this place and I wouldn't even recommend this hospital to a sick dog!!
"Disgraceful treatment"
