"The staff were friendly, the surgeon ..."

About: Sutton Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The staff were friendly, the surgeon top notch, but no fault of the good staff, the hospital was disgustingly old, paint peeling off the walls, plastic half attached to old toilet booth floorings and chairs in the waiting room...well I didn't want to sit in them.

What could be improved

Knock down the building, keep the staff. Alternatively, re-paint the place, modernise the toilets and rooms and get new chairs. I felt sorry for the hard working staff who had to work in such dilapidated conditions.

Anything else?

The NHS needs to give money to this poor hospital or build a new one! (good staff there...top notch).

Thank you for taking the time to offer us feedback on your recent experience at Sutton Hospital.

I will forward your kind comments about the staff onto the department - it is nice for them to hear positive comments from patients.

In terms of the building at Sutton Hospital, I have forwarded your comments onto our estates department, who are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings.
