After 5 days in an Acute Assessment ward
I was transferred from Chelwest hospital as I could no longer walk as my chest pains were getting worse..I dreaded the ambulance journey and dreaded what might be worse to come.I was scared. On arrival a very relaxed nurse dealt with my admission step by step in a very reassuring manner as I was extremely anxious about the whole process. On the day of the procedure(angioplasty)I was seen by the many staff to do with my procedure and was told about what was to happen very clearly.
The angioplasty itself went extremely well. It took little over 30 minutes with very little discomfort to report...I was glad all I had was a blocked artery and nothing else. What a relief as I expected the worse!
I give a very big thank you to all the team who dealt with me in making my stay as comfortable as possible in every way .The food was also the best hospital food I ever had.It was something to look forward to and it never disappointed. Those things matters too and care was given in providing an excellent choice of freshly cooked dishes.
I'm now at home taking it easy and feeling very grateful for the hospital staff who looked after me well at a very sensitive time. You all made my life better.Thank you.
Merci beaucoup a tous!
Philippe.
