I had my first baby late last month and had terrific care from the antenatal department, maternity triage, the labour ward and ward 22.
I was classed as high risk in pregnancy and felt well supported.
Maternity triage experience was caring and I left well informed of what had happened and also to come back in if any worries.
Labour ward was phenomenal I was induced and ended with emergency c section, it was quite over whelming but each one of the staff looked after me so well and my baby and partner. It was an amazing experience one I'll never forget.
Ward 22 was so busy with constant bed changes but the midwifes had a handle on everything. Even though they were so busy they always had time to answer questions and put my mind at ease.
Overall a very positive experience whe having my first baby.
"Exceptional care!"
