"Staff try their best and are very kind"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

The department seems overwhelmed and patients are rushed through with little or no follow up information. I had an endoscopy and the whole procedure felt rushed, I had little explanation about what to expect during the procedure and no information about post procedure. I suffered a lot of discomfort the day after the procedure, rang the department to check to see if this was normal and was just told to contact my GP....my scan was clear but my tummy problems have without a doubt got worse since the endoscopy...

We are sorry to hear about your experience when having an endoscopy and the fact that you felt rushed and had a lack of information. Your comments will be passed to the Matron for the gastroenterology service. If you would like to speak to someone about what happened, please get in touch with the Patient Advice and Liaison Service at pals@nnuh.nhs.uk
