"Made to wait too long for what could have been..."

About: Weston General Hospital

Went into a and e after being referred urgently from my GP with suspected ectopic pregnancy when I finally got to see a doctor it had already been an hour. There was no sense of urgency and the doctor stated that I should have had my vitals checked and had bloods taken by a nurse, but no one had seen me prior. The doctor took bloods and then stated I needed a scan, which took four hours and I was in a great deal of pain. I wasn't offered pain relief or checked in at all before being called for the scan. After the scan I had to wait a further hour for my doctor to discuss the results. Disgusting I have to wait so long when worried and feeling terrible over five hours on what I was told was a serious case and to insists on being seen quickly by my go. I also witnessed several nurses/ dark blue uniforms? on their phones on fb and completely ignoring their patients outside the scan room. The nurse couldn't even understand the porter. When working in such a demanding and potentially life or death area of the hospital you should at least be able to speak English. A joke overall really!
