I was really impressed with the colposcopy department at the RVI- all the staff were very friendly and professional. The consultant explained everything to me and involved me fully in the decisions, the doctor showed great empathy and they and all the clinical and non clinical staff made me feel at ease and in safe hands. The team is very approachable and easy to contact- I had emailed a question to them following my appointment and the colposcopy sister phoned back straight away the next day and again was so kind and really put my mind at ease about everything. Overall a fabulous department. Thank you very much.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your comment on the NHS choices website concerning our services at Gynaecology, Women’s Services. Our staff are very proud to receive such positive feedback, and to be recognised for their work in this way.

We appreciate that attending the colposcopy clinic can be a stressful time so our aim is to make women feel welcomed and try to alleviate their fears associated with the visit and examination, and we are glad this was your experience. We try to answer email or phone questions as soon as possible to reduce anxiety and your feedback is a reminder of how important this is.
