In June I was referred to a private consultant as I had experienced episodes of light headedness. I had a brain scan and heart monitor test which both came back as normal. I have recently seen a letter from the consultant to my GP who has mentioned I have suffered episodes low blood pressure after my hysterectomy (20+ years ago) and history of fainting in recent years! This is completely untrue and he apparently got this from a ten minute consultation with me. Obviously there has been some mistake, either in the dictating stage or the letter being processed, so my question is how do I get this amended? I have emailed the consultant and have not yet had a reply despite emailing several times.
