About: Rosebank Resource Centre

(as a service user),

I come once a week to the day centre and my husband comes three times each week. My husband has dementia and gets a lot from coming to the centre. On the two days he goes without me it gives me a break which is good. It means I can get out, I like getting out to the shops.

The company is good at the centre, you make friends and I now have good friends here. I’m looking forward to the Christmas party, the girls have already been talking about the costumes they’re going to wear.

One improvement that could be made is the meal times. We are now eating later than we did before which doesn’t suit my husband, he is diabetic and it’s important he eats earlier.

Thank you for your positive comments regarding attending the Day Centre. I am glad that you are enjoying the company and on the days that your husband attends you are able to go shopping. It sounds like the preparations for the Christmas Party are well in place. I hope that you have a great time on the day and I am sure that the staff's costumes will be very bright and festive.

I also note that the timing of the meals at the Day Centre means that you are eating later than usual. If you don't mind I will ask the staff to look at the possibility of changing the times and for staff to discuss this with you.
